Position Summary

Serves customers by installing, servicing and maintaining Eagle manufactured presses.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, coordinate, and execute all field service including start-ups, trouble-shooting, inspections, repairs, retrofits and preventative maintenance on Eagle Presses.
  • Assist and support in house production including assembly and machine tool maintenance and repair.
  • Service existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, conducting tests and resolving problems.
  • Submit trip reports and expenses to the Accounting department for processing.
  • Provide start-up, operating and maintenance training for customer.
  • Train and support new service technicians.
  • Travel anywhere in North America and Mexico as required.

Position Summary

Set up, operate, or tend milling machines to drill, bore, ream, mill, or countersink metal work pieces.

Responsibilities

  • Lift work pieces onto work tables either manually or with hoists;
  • Install tools and spindles;
  • Verify conformance of machined work to specifications, using measuring instruments (micrometers, callipers);
  • Study machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional and finish specifications, sequence of operations, set ups and tooling requirements;

  • Select and specify the appropriate matrials and the required heat treatmnet.
  • Model the parts, develop assemblies in 3D using ProE/Creo parametrics.

  • Computation of stresses and deflections of press structures from the first hand principles using beams theory.
  • Computation of weld sizes.
  • Perform FEA ansysis of press structures and co relate and interpret the findings to the first hand principles.

  • Design of Gears, shafts, computation shaft stresses, deflections and fatigue life and factor of safety.
