Eagle tryout & die spotting presses are fast, easy, safe, state-of-the-art hydraulic presses for injection and compression molds, diecast and/or stamping dies, and try-outs.
These rugged machines are available in both post-type or straight-sided, gib-guided frame construction. All Eagle presses are constructed of heavy duty steel plate fabrications and are engineered for optimum frame rigidity.
Standard Tryout & Die Spotting Features
These features include centralized lubrication, state-of-the-art PLC controls and crown-mounted, manifold based hydraulic systems. Options include rolling bolsters, pivoting upper platens and a variety of slide locking devices.

Eagle tryout & die spotting presses are available in a range of tonnage capacities of 3000 + tons. The tonnage and speed can be programmed to ensure the die is produced to exact accuracy and tolerances.
Bed areas, stroke lengths and shut heights are custom tailored to meet your specific requirements. Depending on the size of the die or mold to be spotted, we will size and mount the press beds to your exact production requirements. To ensure safe operations we always ensure all sides of the bed have plenty of access for die handling.
