Eagle mechanical presses are available in crankshaft, eccentric geared and link driven configurations. The Eagle SC, or straight-side crank press line covers low to medium tonnages from 100 to 1000 tonnes. Gearing arrangements vary with bed sizes and energy requirements from single geared, single end drives to double geared, twin end drives
The Eagle SE straight-sided eccentric geared press and SEL Straight-sided Eccentric Link lines cover presses in the medium to high tonnage range. These presses are typically double geared with a 2 or 4 point suspension and have higher energy demands. More on Eagle eccentric presses.
Three Series of Mechanical Presses
Eagle SE mechanical eccentric presses address medium and high tonnage applications which require long strokes and have high energy demands. The SE series mechanical presses range in capacity from 400 to 3500+ tons, with optional high-tech equipment available.
Eagle’s SEL mechanical presses are made for high production rates requiring less torque than the eccentric gear drive. Designed for 3500+ tons capacity and a substantial reduction in the product development cycle time, ensuring reliability and other key advantages.
The SC straight sided Crank mechanical press series covers a broad low to medium tonnage range from 100 to 1200 tons. Gearing arrangements vary with bed sizes and energy requirements from single-geared, single-end drive (low energy) to, twin-end drive (medium energy).
